Description:
Annie is the byproduct of what happens when people dump dogs off on the side of the road. Annie's mom (see Mimi) is a former stray, found 2 years ago, living at a dumpster. Mimi was pregnant when a woman took her in and Annie came from that litter of pups. Two years later, Annie, her mom and her siblings were all released to SoCo Rescue in attempts to find them homes.

Annie is a very reserved, calm dog. She's very friendly to all people and most other dogs. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, Annie doesn't seem to care for those dogs that are really energized or hyper. Annie loves to be a lap dog and can often be found sitting at your feet. Annie loves to cuddle up in bed, nestling her head next to your body.

Annie was formerly kept as an outside dog, but this girl should be kept as an indoor dog. Since coming to SoCo Rescue, Annie has started her house training and has nearly mastered the art. With just a little more training and a touch of patience, Annie will excel as an indoor dog.

Also since becoming a SoCo Rescue dog, Annie has been spayed, received all of her vaccines, micro-chipped and even tested negative for heart worms. Annie has also been kept on a monthly heart worm preventative for the past 4 months.

While Annie gets along great with all humans, including children, she will do better in a home without a lot of commotion and with children who are old enough to properly handle a small dog.
