How to Help.......... Southern Comfort Animal Rescue is a 501c3 (not-for-profit) organization. We exist because of the generous donations of our supporters. There are many ways, both monetary and otherwise, that you can help us in our mission to help homeless animals find loving forever homes. Monetary Donations Southern Comfort Animal Rescue is in rural Georgia where there are no resources for unwanted dogs. As a result dogs and litters of pups are abandoned every day. Our presence is imperative to save the lives of animals in our area. The only people that receive a paycheck at SoCo Rescue are the kennel staff who work tirelessly to care for our dogs 24/7 and 365 day a year. We have no administrators or adoption coordinators. These functions are performed by volunteers. You can be sure that your donations go to directly to the needs of the dogs including vet bills, food and improvements to the rescue buildings. .
