Sandy was found running out of the woods down the street.  As Sandy was passing by a woman who lives down the road from Soco, the woman ran out to the street to call her over.  Sandy came running right to the woman with her tail wagging.  The woman said she seemed just so happy to be at a destination and stop running.  Sandy was very friendly right off the bat and just adores affection.  She did appear to have an injury on the top of her head where some hair was missing but it didn't seem to bother her.  The injury has since been treated and is healed.  Her favorite thing to do is play and her mission now is to find a playmate.  Sandy is a high energy little girl and really appreciates any positive attention she gets.  She makes friends instantly as she loves meeting new people and dogs.  

As of 9/10/15, it is estimated that Sandy is about 9 months old.  She is spayed and current on all her vaccinations.  She will need to be house trained once in her new environment.  If you have room in your heart for Sandy, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
