After being surrendered to a county shelter by her former owner, Nellie found favor in the eyes of a local vet who was asked to preform a health check on her. The vet took Nellie and her brother, Ollie, the only survivors of the litter of 6 pups, to his practice and gave them much needed vet care. SoCo Rescue was asked to help find them a home and we took them into our family in July.

Nellie is very friendly towards other dogs and people alike. She is a bit timid when first meeting new people but becomes accepting of them after a day or two. While she'll make a great family pet, even in a home with children, interested parties must be willing to give her time to become comfortable with them.

Nellie has been spayed, fully vaccinated, deemed very healthy and started on a monthly heart worm preventative. Upon her adoption, she'll receive a microchip.
