Description:
Bella is a 2 year old Poodle/Terrier mix who came to SoCo Rescue as an owner surrender after spending her entire life with that family.

As a puppy, Bella received very little human interaction as her former owners had a hectic and busy lifestyle. Because of the lack of proper training, Bella did as most young dogs do when simply left alone and began to find ways to entertain herself. This usually consisted in bad behavior and chewing on things that she shouldn't. As is all too often the case, Bella's bad behavior was met with improper guidance by her family and she was simply made to live outdoors on a runner, which only led to more bad behavior.

But since coming to SoCo Rescue and receiving much more human interaction, Bella hasn't been destructive at all. It's clear to see that Bella simply needs a home where she can interact with people on a more frequent basis and receive proper instruction .

Bella has had some house training and did very well when she was permitted to live as an inside dog-which is where this little girl should be kept. Because of having to live as an outside dog, she may need a little refresher course on her house training. She has also shown to be somewhat crate trained and loves to play with her toys. Of course, her favorite thing to do is to socialize with people and/or other dogs.

Bella has always received the very best in vet care: kept on a monthly flea, tick and heart worm preventative. She is heart worm free and very healthy. Bella has been spayed, given her other yearly vaccines and will come with a micro-chip when adopted.

Bella will make some family or individual a great pet if given proper guidance. We do recommend a home that would include a stay-at-home mom, retired person or someone who works within the home.
