Hi there, my name is Pango. I'm a female black Lab mix and I'd like to share my story with you.

On March 24, my former owner left me, my brother and three sisters at a local dumpster when we were all just a month old. I don't know how humans always think, but apparently my former owner thought we were all old enough to survive alone. I, personally, don't think we were.

Luckily, another man was there and got us up. This man took us to a place called Southern Comfort Animal Rescue, where we met a very nice man named Scott. Since we've been there, all my siblings and myself were given all our puppy vaccines and other medications to ensure we'd grow up healthy and happy. Two of my sister's have since gone on to new homes, but I am still waiting for my "big day". They tell me when I am old enough, at approximately 6 months of age, I'll get spayed.

I am the largest of my litter and guess you could say I'm somewhat the leader. I'm very friendly, playful and love to lick humans all over their face.. It's just my way of letting you know I love people. I also get along with other dogs, although sometimes I can be a little stingy with the food.

Recently, Mr. Scott allowed me to start living indoors. I'm learning to be crate and house trained, both of which I can proudly say I am doing very well with. I also have gotten to meet other dogs here at SoCo Rescue and found out I love playing with them all. I've even learned to share my food!

Mr. Scott says I have an adoption fee of $65 since I've not been spayed yet, but if you'd like, he can have that taken care of but the adoption fee would then be $135. Mr. Scott hates to charge any fees for his adoptions, but that's the only way he can pay for other dogs to also get the same sort of help that he gave me and my siblings.
