Rocky and his Rottweiler mother, Rachael, were both found in an Atlanta area animal control facility. Rachael had her puppies there, and all were adopted out, except for Rocky. The two of them were facing euthanasia. But, after a plea for help in saving these two was sent out to the public, a woman living in the Atlanta area offered to foster these two until a home or better living arraingments could be found.

 

Rocky is very playful and has been well behaved at his foster home. He seems to be a very friendly and loving little fellow. He is undergoing house training and reportily doing very well. He will go to the door and 'cry' when he wants out, but, as with most puppies, can't hold it very long. Further personal training by his adopters will have Rocky mastering house training in no time at all.More info on Rocky's disposition will be diclosed as his foster parents update us.

 

You will notice, in the last pic of Rocky, at an earlier age, that he was a small little fellow. He has done some growing, now 14 lbs at the age of 3 months. Please note that Rocky's head only appears to be as large as it looks in the one picture. He had tried to jump out of the foster's lap just as the picture was being taken. Rocky should grow to be the size of a Rottweiler, as he is a Rott/Lab mix.  He is up to date with his puppy vaccines and will require neutering at or around the age of maturity, which is normally somewhere around 6-7 months. Terms of his neutering, and how it affects the adoption fee, can be discussed at a later time.
