Shadow and a much smaller dog (McBride) were found as strays after they wandered onto the property of a local family. The family graciously gave both dogs safe shelter, love and care until we were able to get them into our rescue. Shadow and McBride seem to know each other and while it would be great to keep them together, we will consider adopting them separately.

Shadow waste no time in making new friends when meting new people and other dogs. She's also been non-responsive towards our house cat (but has yet to be fully cat tested), proving to us that she is just a sweet-natured girl! Shadow would make a great family companion, even in a home with children. She loves going on walks, playing and just relaxing. 

Shadow has now been spay, received an update on her annual vaccinations, been de-wormed and kept on her monthly preventatives. She also recently tested negative for heartworms. Shadow may need additional house training but seems to have received some training in the past.
