On a very hot Georgia afternoon, a young couple was driving along a stretch of road when something caught the young lady's attention. Not quite sure what she saw at first, the lady first noticed the blue eyes on this very small animal. Once she got closer, she could see that it was a small puppy who was so  dehydrated that the pup as near death and could barely stand on it's own. Gathering the pup up and immediately giving it plenty of water, the lady contacted SoCo Rescue and brought the pup to us.

"Shiloh" was only about 2 months of age when she was found. Her little body was overheated and she was also suffering from an outbreak of mange. We weren't sure if Shiloh would even survive her ordeal but this little trooper fought hard and made a full recovery. We treated her mange by using Nexgard and put her on a good diet. After she cleared her quarantine period, Shiloh was introduced to a couple of other pups who had also recently came and she instantly made friends with them. Shiloh has also been well socialized towards people, showing no fear of them, and has proven to be a very friendly and smart little girl.

Shiloh is currently up to date with all of her vaccinations, been de-wormed and treated against parasites. She's made a full recovery from her mange and is much happier and healthier than when she first arrived. Her adopter must agree to having Shiloh spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
