Description:
***Gilly is currently located at our rescue in Georgia. He is scheduled to be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, New Jersey over the July 12-13 weekend. An application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Gilly and/or our adoption policy should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the rescue's number.*** Gilly and his sister, Gracious, were found as strays in our area and brought to our rescue when they were only about 6 to 7 weeks old. Both were very thin, hungry and in need of help. Gracious was also very lethargic and, at first, we weren't sure if she'd pull through. After receiving some TLC from our staff, both pups made a remarkable recovery and are now doing great. Gilly's unique markings will definitely capture your attention, but it's his super friendly and affectionate personality that will grab your heart! This boy loves to snuggle almost as much as he loves his treats and play time. Gilly will make an excellent addition into any home looking to add a dog that is great around people and other dogs as well. He'll even be great with children who are responsible enough to properly handle a puppy. Gilly has already received all of his first year "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormings and even neutered. He's also been kept up to date on his monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, He will require additional house and leash training, which should come very easily. A home that allows him plenty of room to run and play would be best for him.
