When SoCo Rescue staff members arrived at work on the morning of April 15, they discovered that someone had left a plastic tote with nine young puppies in our parking lot. The pups were soaked from the rain from the previous night which had to add discomfort to their already flea infested bodies and some of the pups appeared to be sickly. Within a few days, five of the nine were lost to possibly parvo and Reuben and his remaining brothers had to fight hard to survive their ordeal. 

Apparently Reuben's near death experience gave him a greater love of life and all that it includes! He very playful and simply loves his interaction with people, even wanting to be a snuggler. Reuben is very inquisitive, seeking out the adventure in everything from sticks to butterflies. There is no doubt that Reuben will make an excellent addition into just about any home.

Reuben is up to date with his vaccinations, de-wormings and monthly preventatives. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide proof of such to our rescue.
