***Sherman will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (PEnnington, NJ) over the June 28-30 weekend.***  He has been in a loving foster home for a couple of months now & is doing amazing!  He is with dogs of all sizes, adults & is fine with their grandchild that comes for a visit.  He is an extremely easy dog.

Sherman's former owner, a senior woman, felt that she could no longer provide proper care for her dogs and asked us to take them in. Sherman had been with this woman for a number of years

While Sherman was in decent health, all things considered, he was badly matted and had to be completely shaven to remove all of the matting. He also had a rather large pocket of fatty tissue in his chest that we had removed along with a few skin tags (he currently has a number of stitches).

Despite his rough condition Sherman has quickly won the hearts of everyone who has interacted with him. Sherman is a very personable and affectionate fellow, loving to be in your lap and thrives on human contact. He also gets along great with other dogs and even passed our cat test with flying colors. He may need a refresher course with his house training.

Sherman has been fully vetted and recently had all of his vaccinations renewed. He also tested negative for heartworms. A microchip will accompany  his adoption.
