**Raven will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) on Oct 19th**

When a man went to check on the noises that were coming from an abandoned house near where he lives, he was startled to find nine very young puppies all huddled together. They were crying out, obviously very hungry and looked very thin as if they hadn't ate in a few days. These pups couldn't have been over 2 weeks of age and their mom was nowhere in sight, meaning that someone had simply left the pups at this house to survive on their own. This man graciously cared for the pups for a month until we could get them into our rescue. Raven came from this litter of pups.

Raven is the most reserved of among her litter mates, even a little timid. She's not fearful, just takes her a little longer to become accepting of new things and people than does her siblings. But this also makes her more dependent and affectionate once she accepts someone, She does love playing with other pups and may do better in a home with another dog.

We're not exactly sure of his breed mix but Raven's siblings have the appearance of possibly being a Doberman mix. We think the litter will grow to be around 50-60 lbs. Raven will need all of her basic training.

Raven has received her first year puppy vaccines,  she's been spayed, received her rabies and bordetella vaccines; been de-wormed; treated against parasites and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. When adopted, a microchip will also be supplied for her. .
