Description:
**Ronan will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills (Pennington, NJ) over the Oct 19th** When a man went to check on the noises that were coming from an abandoned house near where he lives, he was startled to find nine very young puppies all huddled together. They were crying out, obviously very hungry and looked very thin as if they hadn't ate in a few days. These pups couldn't have been over 2 weeks of age and their mom was nowhere in sight, meaning that someone had simply left the pups at this house to survive on their own. This man graciously cared for the pups for a month until we could get them into our rescue. Ronan came from this litter of pups. Ronan has seemed to be the leader of his litter, somewhat protective and always making sure that the new things and people they encounter is safe before becoming accepting of them. But once he becomes acquainted with these new things he is very affectionate. He's very calm fora puppy but is still very playful. He will be a very devoted and wonderful dog. We're not exactly sure of his bred mix but Ronan and his siblings have the appearance of possibly being a Doberman mix. We think the litter will grow to be around 50-60 lbs. Ronan will need all of his basic training. Ronan has received his first year puppy vaccines, he's been neutered, received his rabies and bordetella vaccines; been de-wormed; treated against parasites and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. When adopted, a microchip will also be supplied for him. To apply for the adoption of Ronan please submit an application at socorescue.com
