**Sparkles will be available for adoption at Rosedale Mills, located in Pennington, NJ, over the Sept 29-Oct 1 weekend**

During a typical hunting season we always see a number of hounds, pointers and other such "hunting" breeds that find themselves homeless. Some are simply left in the woods by their owners, others are abandoned because their hunting ability is less than what a hunter desires in a dog. Such could be the case for Sparkles who found herself in need of a new home after she wandered onto the property of a local family. 

Sparkles is an "instant" friend to everyone she meets. She also seems to be very dog friendly but does likes to play hard with other dogs. She walks well on a leash and would be ideal for someone looking for a dog to take on hikes, jogging or other such activities. She also shows some house training ability but will need further work to become fully trained.  

Sparkles recently tested negative for heart worms and keeping her on a monthly preventative keep her protected against them. She's also been spay, fully vaccinated and appears to be in excellent health.
