***Lana is scheduled to attend and will be available for adoption at our adoption event at Rosedale Mills, in Pennington, NJ, over the March 10-12 weekend.***

Lana was found discarded along a deserted stretch of road along with 2 other dogs, one obviously being her young male pup. Terrified at first, Lana has since overcame her fear and has proven to be very friendly and loving. She does very well with other dogs but tends to be more on the alpha side than submissive. She’s not shown aggressive behavior but may growl at a new dog upon first meeting them.

We’re not positive but Lana appears to be a Westie mix. Her coat of hair would make her an ideal candidate for someone looking for a medium-to-small hypoallergenic dog. But it will be the show of love and appreciation that Lana shows that will capture many hearts. This girl will definitely be a “once-in-a-lifetime” dogs.

Lana has now been spay and received an update on all of her vaccines. She recently tested negative for heartworms and has been kept of a monthly preventative since coming to our rescue. A microchip will accompany her adoption.
