River was brought to us from an animal loving woman after he was found left on a sand bar in the rain at a local river.  When he came to us he was very sick and it took about a month for him to fully recover.  During his recovery period River showed nothing but love and appreciation for us helping him, he's a sweet and wonderful boy.  Once recovered, River showed his incredibly vibrant and boisterous personality. He's a very smart boy who needs a lot of stimulation.  He would run around the yard all day if he could.  He's extremely energetic and has lots of love to give.  River would make a great addition to a family that has an active lifestyle.  

River is neutered and current on all his vaccinations- DHLPP, Rabies & Bordetella.  As mentioned above he is a very intelligent boy but may need a refresher course in house breaking once in his new environment.  If interested in this happy and fun boy, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
