Buddy came to us after we received a call from our vet.  We were told Buddy's owners said if the vet didn't take him that they were either going to leave him tied to a tree or shoot him. Not surprisingly from his background, Buddy can be a little shy at first meeting.  He is a sweet boy though and after a short time he does warm up.  

Buddy is a laid back guy and though he is more on the submissive side, does get along with other dogs.  He's a smart boy, knows some basic commands and catches onto routine rather quickly.  Buddy is a wonderful boy and would make a great addition to any family without small children.

As of 2/10/16 it's estimated Buddy is about 1-1/2 years old.  He's current on all his vaccinations and he is neutered.  Once in his new environment Buddy will need a refresher course in house training.  Buddy deserves a warm, loving family to give him what he hasn't had before.  If you have room in your heart and home, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
