Brittany was surrendered to us after we received a call from a young couple about a sick pup. Originally there was a litter of four when we got the call to go see the pups.  As soon as we pulled up and got out of the truck, the pup they said was sick died just as we were walking over to her.  Brittany and her brother Buster looked sickly as well so we took them back to the rescue.  Out of the four, two of the pups passed at this couple's house, and Soco has the other two pups, one of which has already been adopted.  

When Brittany arrived she was only about 6-7 weeks old.  She didn't have much fur at all and she had scabs all over her body.  We treated her for mange, and slowly she began to recover nicely.  To see this beautiful, happy girl now is like night and day from how she looked when she came here.  She is very playful and sweet with big bright eyes. She gets along well with other dogs and she loves people.  

As of 1/8/16, it's estimated Brittany is 19 weeks old.  She is fully vaccinated but will need to be spayed once she reaches the appropriate age of 6-7 months.  Brittany is such a great girl with a wonderful personality.  Her brother already has a loving home and we wish the same for Brittany.  If you have room in your heart to give Brittany all the love she deserves, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
