Arthur was found with a few other dogs in a nearby yard just wandering free.  The owner surrendered Arthur to us because she could not care for him.  When we first saw Arthur he was eating catfish heads and we had quite a time trying to get him to stop, he seemed to be enjoying them a great deal.  Since being with Soco, Arthur no longer has to rummage around for food, he eats nutritious, grain free, healthy puppy food now just as any puppy should.  Instead of sleeping in a dirty yard, he has a kennel with a blanket he can lay on.  Instead of playing with any item found discarded in a dirty yard, he is loving his toys.  Arthur is now learning how he is supposed to be treated and enjoying every minute of it.  

When we were finally able to get the catfish heads away from baby Arthur, he just jumped in a staff member's arms and cuddled.  Though Arthur is a big puppy, he loves to be held.  He'll wrap his paws right around your neck and lay his precious head on your shoulder.  Arthur plays well with all other pups, smaller or larger than him.  He's not overly rough and he really enjoys his playmates.  Arthur is a smart little guy and catches on to routine quickly.

As of 11/5/15, it's estimated Arthur is 3-1/2 months.  Arthur is fully vaccinated but he will need to be neutered once he reaches the appropriate age of 6-7 months.  If you want to fill your home with laughter and love from our wonderful Arthur, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
