Shrek is a big love bug but nevertheless had a date to be euthanized at a local shelter.  No one wanted that to happen and through the joint effort of a very good friend of Soco, Shrek was brought to us.

Shrek is a big boy and very sweet.  He loves to play and his tail wags instantly when meeting someone.  Shrek loves to show you his love and showers you with hugs and kisses.  His appreciation for life is immense and he wants you to know that.  

Shrek came in with insect bite marks, calluses and just basically not in the best of shape.  It was obvious this boy never lived indoors.  Because of that reason, Shrek is heartworm positive.  This is an easily treatable condition that can be cured.  If neglected however, Shrek could die from the heartworms.
