Slade was surrendered to Soco along with his two sisters.  All three were so very scared and covered in fleas.  In caring for Slade and treating him for fleas he began to slowly come out of his shell. After a few days at our rescue Slade started to lose his fear and display his loving personality.  

He is still a bit timid but he has a desire to be loved and is learning to trust quickly.  Slade is a handsome boy and to watch his personality go from scared and shaking to walking slowly towards you and licking your hand is just wonderful.  He shows his thanks and it's very heartwarming.

Slade will still need some work in showing his true self, but all he needs is some patience, love and care.  It shouldn't take much time at all to make him shine.  

As of 10/15/15, it's estimated that Slade is 6-7 months old.  He is current on all his vaccinations and is neutered.  He will need to be house trained once in his new environment.  If you think you can give Slade the loving home he deserves, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
