Susie was surrendered to us along with her 7 pups.  Susie was a wonderful attentive mom but due to circumstances she experienced before arriving, unfortunately 3 of her pups passed shortly after coming to the rescue.  The remaining 4 were all adopted out to wonderful homes.  Susie is a very beautiful, gentle and loving girl.  She has a gorgeous coat with thick, long, shiny hair.  She is docile girl with an extremely calm temperament.  Her favorite thing to do is get her belly rubbed, she could lay there all day and be loved.  After an initial introduction, Susie does well with other dogs.  She's not aggressive at all and has to get to know them first.  Once the intro is made, Susie can play all day with another dog.  

Susie is current on all her vaccinations and we did have her spayed.  On her recent vet examination Susie tested positive for heartworms.  She is on a monthly treatment in which the heartworms die of gradually.  Once adopted, Susie will need to be kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.  Susie needs help with her heartworm treatment.  If you can sponsor her and/or provide her with the wonderful home she deserves, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
