Abigail and her doggie pal Diva were discarded to us when the owner didn't want them anymore. Both were incredibly filthy and loaded with fleas.  It was quite obvious that they were completely neglected.  This unfortunate truth became glaring when shortly after arriving at the rescue, Abigail's doggie pal Diva crossed over the rainbow bridge.  No signs of trauma, she just passed away because of complete neglect by the previous owner.  Poor little Abigail was left with no doggie pal anymore.  Quickly though, this sweetie decided she couldn't grieve too long and made lots of new doggie pals.  She gets along great with other dogs and is a very friendly little cutie pie.  She loves to be held and pampered, which she really deserves after the hell she's been through.  Despite her horrid life, she still just wants to love you.  She's a little darling who would make a great asset to any family.

As of 9/10/15, Abigail is estimated to be around 6-1/2 years old.  She is spayed and is current on all her vaccinations.  Abigail deserves a home filled with love and she will always put a smile on your face.  If you think you can provide that for her, please submit an application to www.socorescue.com.
