After being surrendered to a county shelter by his former owner, Ollie found favor in the eyes of a local vet who was asked to preform a health check on him. Ollie and his sister, Nellie, were the only survivors from a litter of 6 pups that obviously didn't receive any care by their former owner prior to being surrendered. SoCo Rescue was asked to help find them a home and we took them into our family in July.

While Ollie was a very timid dog he is thriving in his foster home. He's great around other dogs and is  become trusting of men. He loves his walks in the woods, rough housing with other dogs and just an all around good boy. Anyone considering adopting him needs to understand that he will still need a gentle hand as he continues to learn trust. Ollie will probably do best in a home with other dogs and without a lot of commotion typically caused by very young children.

Ollie has been neutered, fully vaccinated, deemed very healthy and started on a monthly heart worm preventative. Upon his adoption, he'll receive a microchip.
