Buck formerly belonged to a local breeder who decided to "get out of the business" of selling dogs.

Buck's former life has caused him to be a little reserved when first meeting new people. But once he spends a little time with someone, sees that they pose no threat, he becomes very comfortable with them pretty fast. Buck can be very relaxed and laid back, making him ideal for a retired/senior person, and his playful side makes him an ideal candidate as a family pet. 

Buck has been neutered and received an update on all of his vaccinations. He tested negative for heart worms in June 2015 and has been kept on a monthly preventative since coming to our rescue.
