On a cold Feb night, someone left Rita in the parking lot of a store. Scared and very pregnant, Rita had to be wondering where she'd have her litter and if they would survive. But as fate would have it, someone contacted SoCo Rescue and we gladly took Rita into our family. Two nights later, Rita delivered 6 very healthy pups.

Since that time, Rita has been fostered in a home and has been doing very well. She shows signs of once being a family pet, good house training traits (although she does need more training) and lives peacefully with other dogs and even cats. She is very affectionate and is eager to please her human counterparts.

Rita has now been spay, received an update on all of her yearly vaccinations and even found to be heart worm free. All this very grateful and loving girl needs is a home of her own.
