Like so many other dogs in the Wheeler Co. area, Marie was simply a “throw-away” dog. A concerned citizen brought her to SoCo Rescue.

Marie most likely is a Hound/Rottie mix and is approx 2 years old. She is simply in love with people and gets along great with most other dogs, only having issues with those that are aggressive towards her. Because of this, we'd require a meeting between any dog that a potential adopter may have and Marie before agreeing to adopt her to a family. We don't think Marie will do well in a home with cats.

Marie will also thrive in a home where she can have plenty of outside time. She will need to be house trained as she's not yet mastered that trait. But we've seen that Marie has the ability to learn new things and could be easily trained with an experienced owner.
