In Sept 2014, a woman pulled into our parking lot and abandoned three very tiny puppies. These pups were not yet weened from their mother. Rufus was one of those pups.

Since that time Rufus has flourished and proven to be very friendly. He's also very healthy, playful and happy. He enjoys playing with the other dogs his age and seems to be very well socialized towards humans.

Rufus has been neutered, is up to date on all of his first year vaccinations and other such vet care. He tested negative for heart worms and has been kept on a monthly HW preventative since coming to our rescue.
