Description:
This little bundle of cuteness is Amye, a 6 month old Dachshund mix, who came to SoCo Rescue as an owner surrender. Her former owner fell upon hard times and decided it was best to surrender Amye and her two sisters to SoCo Rescue in hopes that we could find them good homes.

Of the three pups, Amye is the most outgoing and first to make friends with new people. She has a very friendly personality, loves to play with other dogs of all sizes and is very people friendly. She is accustomed to being around young children. Amye will make a great addition to just about any home situation as long as the children are responsible enough to handle a young, small dog.

Amye has been working on her house and leash training skills but will need additional training. Once full grown, she'll most likely be in the 10-15 lb range. Amye has been fully vetted, kept on a monthly heart worm preventative and is very healthy. (See vet care info below)

general worming; Ponazuril and panacur administered (for any possible parasites such as giardia and coccidia): 8/6 to 8/9/14. 
Comfortis (flea) and heart worm preventatives administered at the first of each month.

Spay; rabies; bordetella, fecal testing (neg): 10/29/14.
