Chubby Love is just that, a short, chubby bundle of love! At approx. 2 years old, this mixed breed girl is very comical and full of personality.
When we first encountered Chubby Love in July 2013, we thought she was just another stray dog, dumped off at our rescue. But within a few days, her owner came to SoCo Rescue and properly identified his dog, even letting us know that she was microp-chipped. But this man didn't take Chubby Love with him. Over the next couple of weeks, the man reappeared at SoCo, each time saying he was going to reclaim his dog on the next visit. Eventually, the man stopped coming by and didn't respond to any emails or phone calls inquiring as to when he was going to take his dog home. Needless to say, but Chubby Love officially became a SoCo Rescue dog after we determined her former owner simply did not want her.
Chubby Love has been spayed and fully vetted. She is heart worm free and very healthy. Her playful personality makes her a great companion for a young child (old enough to properly treat a dog) and her relaxed side makes her a fantastic lap dog. She has done very well with her housetraining and is even crate trained. She gets along great with other dogs of all sizes as long as the other dog isn't aggressive.
