As a young puppy, Joanie found herself to be a "Craig's List" dog after her former owner decided she no longer wanted her. Out of concern for her safety SoCo Rescue was asked to take Joanie in our family.

  At approx. 1 1/2 year old, this Beagle mix has a variety of personalities to suit just about any family. She's very friendly towards people, never having met a stranger and is great around children. While she enjoys her playtime with other dogs she does tend to be more so on the alpha side rather than submissive.  We're not yet sure how she will be around cats.

Joanie has already been spay, up to date on all of her yearly vaccinations and recently tested negative for heart worms. She's been wormed on a regular basis and kept on a monthly heart worm preventative since coming to our rescue.
