On a cold Dec morning in 2013, a man pulled into a convenience store parking lot, rolled down the window of his truck and dropped this little puppy onto the ground then simply drove away. Luckily, a couple of the employees were outside at the time and got this pup out of harms way and immediately called SoCo Rescue. 

This puppy wasn't even a month old, it's eyes not yet fully able to focus on it's surroundings. At first, we all thought this pup to be a female as it's...ahem..."manhood" was still recessed. It was a few days later that this pup's body fully developed and, presto, we have "Boy George"!!! 

Boy George is younger than we typically like to adopt a puppy but his cruel introduction into the real world forced him to begin his vaccinations and such a bit earlier than normal so he is now ready to find his new home.

Boy George will be a calm dog once grown, if his present personality is any measure of how he'll be as an adult. He is very friendly, loves other dogs and shows an admiration of humans, despite his early mistreatment by one. He will truly be a very good friend and companion, one that you'll always treasure.
