A couple of years ago, Mimi found hersef living on the streets just outside of Soperton, Ga. A woman found Mimi and took her home. While this woman gave the best care she could, she was never able to get Mimi spayed. Two years and two liters later, after experiencing financial difficulties, this woman felt she needed to surrender Mimi to SoCo Rescue.
Since coming to SoCo Rescue, Mimi has been spayed, updated on all of her vaccines and has been fully accessed. Mimi will also be micro-chipped before adoption.
Mimi has preformed very well on her house and crate training. She tested negative for heart worms and has been on a monthly heart worm preventative for at least the last four months.
Mimi is very friendly to people and likes to be near them. She is a perfect little lap dog, weighing only about 10 lbs. Her calm, loving personality will cause you to love this sweet little girl.
Mimi, as typical with most Dachshunds, will "talk" to you when she wants something, be that a trip outside or to say she's ready to eat.
Mimi is a low activity dog but does like to go for walks on her leash. She travels well and does very well when meeting new people.
