Eclipse is a two year old, black and silver german shepherd and previously belonged to an Hispanic lady who had to give up both he and Sol, a long-haired shepherd, due to divorce.  Eclipse comes when called, doesn't appear to notice cats when indoors, but tends to chase them if they run while he is outside.  He has been introduced to a few other dogs with no apparent problems.  I have not introduced him to my two small dogs as I have no one to help me with introductions and don't want to take any chances on my little guys getting hurt because they are very barky around other dogs and I feel Eclipse may take it the wrong way.  He is currenlty up to date on all vaccines and was neutered approximately one month ago.  He tested negative for heart worms but I don't have the money to get him started on preventive.  I can provide records of all vaccines and medical records.
 
Both he and Sol love to run loose when I clean their outdoor pen and both respond immediately when I call them to come back and return to their pen on command.  They will, however, run off if left unattended, as I found out by accident.  They also chase horses and, if not for our donkey who kept them at bay, probably would have been able to catch and possibly injury the pony.  It was actually a funny sight to see this donkey chasing the two shepherds around the pasture until they found a way to get out of the pen but they learned quickly and will no longer go into the horse pasture if the horses are in sight..
 
Eclipse is a very strong dog and I can not put him on leash because he pulls me and I can't hold him back.  He definetly needs a strong person to work with him, although he is already partially trained.  He sits on command and as I said, he comes on command.  He gets very attached early and cries when I go outside if I don't pay attention to him.  He is truly a beautiful animal and I really hope you can find him a permanent home.
