Description:
Look at the cute face and say "Hello" to Piper, a young female American Bulldog mix. Piper was found at a local dumpster, skinny, hungry and in need of all of her vet care. Still, this girl was so friendly that she came right to me. Once I put her into my truck, she quickly stretched out and went to sleep, apparently so tired from her day in, day out search for food and water. Since here, Piper has gained weight and is now at a healthy weight. (The picture you see of her standing, side profile, was how she looked when she came to us.) She's received all her vaccines, including her rabies, has been spay and did test negative for heart worms. Piper has been on a monthly heart worm preventative since coming into our rescue. Piper has also been wormed and has been given her Bordetella vaccine. Piper is very friendly and playful. She has no aggression at all. She is crated trained, but does need some house training. She young enough, probably 8-10 months, that she can learn quickly. We do have her listed as an outdoor dog since she still needs house training.
