Eli was found just up the road from Southern Comfort Animal Rescue. At first, neighbors thought he was a dog that was missing from our rescue for a week, but that missing dog had already returned home when Eli first began to show up.

Eli would hang around a residential construction site, feeding off whatever the workers would give to him. When I first saw him, he was a bit scared, but quickly accepted my friendship when he saw that I had food! He was a hungry little boy.

Eli has progressed very well while here at the rescue. He has become leash and crate trained, not once even soiling his crate. Eli gets along great with all the other dogs, being very submissive to the older, larger dogs and very gentle with those that are younger and/or smaller. Eli is also very people friendly and would make a great pet for a child that is old enough to properly handle a pet. He would also make a great addition to a family or person without children, as he thrives when near people.

Eli will be neutered and receive his rabies before his adoption. He is up to date on all vaccines. All this fellow needs is a loving home.
