Maxine was found as a stray in Dublin, Ga. She was standing next to the road, where another dog lay dead from being struck by an automobile. Maxine was very thin, scared and confused, yet she was very eager to accept help from the human, who found her, SCAR president Terry Wolf.

After receiving some much needed medical care and TLC, Maxine eventually opened up and accepted us as her friends.

Maxine has been very friendly to both humans and other dogs. She has shown good house training abilities, but may need more training to fully master this. Maxine loves to get attention and will give much love back.
