Jackson was found as a stray in the Glenwood, Ga. area. He seemed to be searching for his home, and wandered to a house where he was not welcomed. When I went to get him, still scared after he had been jumped by a larger dog, he was nothing but friendly to me. He has shown no aggression at all since coming to our rescue.

Jackson is thought to be close to a year old. He is dog and people friendly. He loves to get out and track the smells on the ground, therefore he may make a great dog for hunting.

Jackson has received all his yearly vaccines, and will be neutered before adoption. He has been great with his house training, and is still learning his crate training. Jackson walks very well on a leash and will obey your commands. He always has a look of concentration of his face, but will lay his head on your lap and let you love on him.

Jackson will make a great pet for a child, old enough to appreciate and handle dogs, and looking for a good companion. You'll get that story book impression of him when you see how well he adapts to children.
