Barney, along with his brother Lil' Red (see his profile), were brought to us by a woman who came across 5 little pups, barely weaned from their mother, that had been dumped on the side of the road: One had been hit by a car and was dead, one ran away into the woods and was never found, and the third passed away. Barney and Lil' Red are the only two surviving pups.

Barney is believed to be a Lab mix, yellow in color and very sweet and loving. He loves to play with Lil Red, has already learned his crate training and will cuddle up with people. He is about 2 months old. He has already been wormed and, as of March 5,  has been given 2 of his 3 his puppy vaccines. (The last will be given the week of March 15th.) Barney will need to be neutered by the age of 7 months.

He will make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a pet to grow up with their child or children, as long as the child and/or children are of an age that knows how to properly handle a pet, or for someone looking for a long term relationship with a pet.
 
Getting a pup at such an early age allows someone the opportunity to train and develop the pup into a proper dog. Barney, after all he's been through, deserves to have a wonderful life from this point forward. Can you give that to him?
