From her Foster mom -  Meet Dana, a playful pup with a heart of gold. This energetic dog loves exploring the outdoors whether it’s going on a walk or simply lounging in the backyard. But when it's time to wind down Dana is also the perfect snuggle buddy and enjoys nothing more than curling up on the couch to watch some TV. Dana can be a little shy when meeting new people but her playful and energetic personality shines when another dog is around.

Dana's mom had been found as a stray in the Dublin, GA area. She was pregnant at the time and delivered her puppies while with the family that found her. Dana's mom looked to be a mix of Lab and Black Mouth Cur. 

Dana can best be described by using only three words: fun, lovable and playful! She's also very well socialized towards people and gets along great with other dogs. You'll find yourself growing very attached to this wonderful girl in no time at all. 

Dana has received all three  of her first year "puppy" vaccines as well as her rabies and bordetella vaccinations.  . She's also been de-wormed and treated against parasites at proper intervals and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Dana Spay once she reaches the age of reproducing (typically 6 months or as directed by their veterinarian*) and providing verification of such to SoCo Rescue. Dana will require all of her basic training.
