Cousin Fred and his siblings were found living in horrible conditions at a home in Dublin, GA. and placed in a foster home until we had space to bring them into our rescue. Because their former owner had not provided them with any of their required vaccinations or de-wormings, the pups came to us overloaded with worms and parasites which required a little extra time and care to get them back to good health.  At that time, Cousin Fred was much bigger and looked totally different that the other four pups, which led us to think he wasn't from the same litter and  why we added "Cousin" to his name. But now it's evident that he is most likely a sibling but the name just fit him so we left it as is.

From Day 1, Cousin Fred has been an extremely friendly and very playful dog. He gets along great with all of the other dogs he's encountered and has a strong desire to be with humans. He has a lot of energy so a home that permits lots of time, space and activities in which to use some of that energy. Being very attentive and smart, Cousin Fred should be easy to train.

Cousin Fred has received all of his first year vaccinations, de-wormings and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives as well as being neutered. He will need additional house and leash training
