Blue had been found as a stray in a neighboring county. After her stray hold had passed with no one coming forward as her owner, the lady that found her then contacted us to help find Blue a new home.

At first, Blue may seem a bit timid when meeting new people or being in a new place but she adapts rather quickly once she realizes that she's among friends. She makes new friends very easily after that and enjoys playing with other dogs. Blue also appears to be somewhat house, crate and leash trained, no doubt someone spent some time training her. She can be trusted around children and would make an excellent family companion. Adding this sweet girl to your home will only make your life better!

The tattoo on her belly is an indication that she has been spay at some point, but we're just not sure when or where. But we have renewed all of her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other such care.  Blue’s heartworm test results were described by our vet as “…very, very light positive.” In fact, our vet highly recommends not subjecting Blue to the full blown treatments, rather keep her on her monthly preventative and have her retested in 6 months. We will be more than happy to discuss this treatment option with any potential adopter.
