***ADOPTION PENDING .***

In January of this year, a man found a box of 12 puppies that had been discarded in the mobile home park where he lived. He and his wife took the pups to their home and gave the two month old pups the best care that they could. The pups were overloaded with worms, parasites and fleas, which left them without fur to keep themselves warm during the frigid January temperatures. Five of the young pups passed before we were able to take them in and a sixth passed shortly after coming to our rescue, but Paris and her five remaining siblings have all fully recovered from their ailments and are now healthy, happy and ready to find their new homes.

While Paris has been a very sweet, calm and affectionate pup towards all of our staff and even other dogs, she just does not like her siblings!  Separate her from them and she's been near perfect with other pups, both bigger and smaller, and larger, older dogs. She's always very focused on her person, learns new things rather easily and quickly and exhibits the desire to be someone's best friend. Paris may even do very well as a service dog or even as a member of law enforcement with proper training.

Paris will have received all of her required first year "puppy" vaccinations, including her rabies and Bordetella vaccines, as well as scheduled de-wormings and monthly preventatives prior to being transported north. Her adopter must agree to having Paris spay once she reaches six months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Paris will also need to receive all of her basic training, however, she is already doing very well with her crate and limited house training.training

PS: We would urge a meet-and-greet with any other dog(s) that Paris would share the home with prior to finalizing her adoption.
