Boss had been a stray in the Macon, GA area when a very compassionate lady found him. She contacted her local shelter who advised the woman that they would most likely just euthanize the young Shih Tzu immediately due to the overcrowded conditions at the shelter. The woman opted to nurse Boss back to health, and then contacted SoCo Rescue for help in re-homing him. 

Boss is super friendly and seems as if he's never met a stranger. He loves to cuddle and give kisses about as much as he does exploring the new sights and sounds that each day brings. He would be very suitable around young children as long as they know how to handle a small dog.

Boss is up to date on his annual vaccinations, de-wormings and other such care. He's been started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and even tested negative for them. He's also been neutered. Boss shows definite signs of being house trained but may need a refresher course once in his new home.
