Titto and his seven siblings were found abandoned along a dirt road in a very rural area of Wrightsville, GA.  A man found them in a box while he was driving home from work, apparently left there by some uncaring person. The man scooped up the pups and brought them to our rescue. The pups were in poor condition, looked as if they hadn't had a good meal in a few days and, as we learned, had contracted a potentially deadly parasite called Coccidia. The SoCo Rescue staff was dedicated to saving the litter and their efforts paid off wonderfully as all of the pups were saved.

We're not positive but we believe the pups may be a Lab mix, but also thinking they'll be smaller than the average lab, maybe in the 30-40lb range once fully grown. Each of the pups are very outgoing, playful and affectionate. They're wiggly, snuggly and always smiling. While they're energetic as a group, they become lab babies when alone with a person. They'll make great companions for families with children who know how to properly handle a pup.

The award for Bravest Pup goes to Tito! He's never hesitant to explore new things, meet new people or investigate the unknown. And he also has the courage to let himself love everyone he meets, knowing that love will be returned to him. If you're looking for a great addition to your family, give thought to Tito. You'll be glad you did.

Tito has received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccines with his third being due on Feb 23. He's also been de-wormed and treated against parasites, started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and received his Bordetella vaccination. He is too young to receive his Rabies vaccine, he must be older than 12 weeks of age. His adopter must agree to having him neutered once he reaches the age of reproducing (typically 6 months or as directed by their veterinarian*) and providing verification of such to SoCo Rescue. Tito will require all of his basic training.
