Talia and her seven siblings were found abandoned along a dirt road in a very rural area of Wrightsville, GA.  A man found them in a box while he was driving home from work, apparently left there by some uncaring person. The man scooped up the pups and brought them to our rescue. The pups were in poor condition, looked as if they hadn't had a good meal in a few days and, as we learned, had contracted a potentially deadly parasite called Coccidia. The SoCo Rescue staff was dedicated to saving the litter and their efforts paid off wonderfully as all of the pups were saved.

We're not positive but we believe the pups may be a Lab mix, but also thinking they'll be smaller than the average lab, maybe in the 30-40lb range once fully grown. Each of the pups are very outgoing, playful and affectionate. They're wiggly, snuggly and always smiling. While they're energetic as a group, they become lab babies when alone with a person. They'll make great companions for families with children who know how to properly handle a pup.

Talia is nothing short of a little love bug! She's very friendly, playful and extremely happy. She'll make a great friend to have, be that to a single person or a family.

She's received 2/3 of her first year "puppy" vaccines with her third being due on Feb 23. She's also been de-wormed and treated against parasites, started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and received her Bordetella vaccination. She is too young to receive her Rabies vaccine, she much be older than 12 weeks of age. Her adopter must agree to having her spay once she reaches the age of reproducing (typically 6 months or as directed by their veterinarian*) and providing verification of such to SoCo Rescue. Talia will require all of her basic training.
