Roonie came to us via the Dublin Humane Society, as she was turned in by her previous owner. She had ran away and gotten struck by a car, thus resulting in a broken leg. The leg has healed completely, not giving Roonie any trouble, but the relationship with the previous owner did not heal. Roonie found herself without a home and stuck in the humane society.

Roonie has been spayed, up to date with all vaccines, wormed and rabies given. Roonie is house trained and is also crate trained. She gets along very well with other dogs and loves her human contact. She loves to roam the outdoors so it's advisable that a fenced yard or close supervision when outside be considered when letting her go outside.

Roonie is definitely a Dachshund mix, having the head and body length of such, but weighs slightly more than the average Dachshund. She may top the scales at the 20-25 lb range and standing maybe a foot or so tall. She is approx. 3 years old.. We believe Roonie may be mixed with a bit of bulldog, as she also has the backside similar to a bull breed. She also has the personality of a very sweet dog, more so of a loving Dachshund. She is a very quite dog, rarely barking and not one to whine.
