Lucy came to our rescue as an owner surrender. She had been gifted to a senior lady who took excellent care of Lucy, but quickly discovered that Lucy was way too active for her lifestyle. She has been at a foster home since her arrival.

Lucy is a furry little bundle of love who is also very friendly and playful. She gets along great with other dogs and has shown no interest in the cats at the foster home. When she's not exploring all the new sights and smells that come with each new day, she's busy trying to con you out of a belly rub. She'll make an excellent family companion, even in a home with young children as long as they know how to properly handle a young, small dog. 

Lucy's former owner kept her up top date with her annual vaccinations and de-wormings. We've also started Lucy on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. It was recommended by her original vet to wait until Lucy was 1 year old to have her spay. Her adopter must agree to having her spay at that time and provide verification of such to our rescue. Her foster mom reports that Lucy is "doing great" on her house training, but does need additional training.
