Tamara and her three sisters came into our rescue as owner surrenders. Their former owner had given them to one of our staff members who then fostered the pups until they were ready to be placed for adoption. During their stay with the staff member-turned foster mom, the pups received the very best of care and help in making sure they were well socialized towards humans. The former owner stated the pups are part Great Pyrenees but we have not been able to verify or dispel her claims. Regardless of there breed mix, it's obvious that these pups are going to grow to be large to extra large dogs.

Spend a little time around Tamara and you'll understand why we think she's an ideal candidate for anyone looking for a family pet. She's comical, playful and so very sweet. She's also very gentle, making her well suited to be around children who know how to properly treat a dog.

Tamara has received all of her first-year "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormed at proper intervals and started on her monthly flea/tick and Heartworm preventatives. She's also already been spay. Tamara will need house and additional leash training.
